Engagement Terms

These terms explain, in general terms, how engagements work with Sydney Accountants, an associated business within the Local Knowledge group, which operates NDIS Back Office by Sydney Accountants. They are general information, not a contract in themselves and not legal advice.

MyCareFinders is a referral source only and is not a party to any engagement. All services, pricing and terms are provided and owned by Sydney Accountants.

The information on this website is general information only. It is not personal financial, tax, legal or compliance advice, and it does not take your specific circumstances into account. Formal advice is provided only under a signed engagement with Sydney Accountants.

Engagements start with a free, no-obligation fit call. If we are a good fit, we scope the work and send a written proposal setting out what is included and the indicative pricing.

Any pricing shown or discussed before this point is indicative only and depends on the size and complexity of your business. Work begins once you accept a proposal and we have a signed engagement in place.

The specific services, fees, billing arrangements and each party’s responsibilities are set out in your signed engagement. Where our work depends on information you provide (for example, source records, payroll data or claim details), the accuracy and completeness of that information remains your responsibility.

We help you keep accurate books, stay compliant and be audit-ready, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome, including the result of any audit or review by a regulator or funder. We are careful to describe what our services do without over-promising.

Either party may end an engagement in line with the terms set out in the signed engagement. On ending, we will complete any agreed handover and settle outstanding fees for work done.
